The Cohen House from the OC
How many of us OC fans haven't dreamed about living in the Cohen house, situated on a hilltop in Newport Beach, California. However, in real life, the house exists, but it's pretty far from the version we saw in the show. It's located in a gated community in Malibu, I've been outside the gates myself, but since I'm not a trespasser i didn't try to get in.
The house itself looks just like the Cohen house in the front, but the interior and backyard is very different. The producers of The OC actually used the backyard of a different home nearby (see down below) in the show. However, if you wanted to buy the front of the Cohen house, you had the chance this fall, since it was for sale and sold for USD 5 940 000. I preferred the home like it looked in the OC, but the real life version is pretty beautiful too. I didn't like the interior, so I won't post that here, but the exterior is lovely, take a look at these photos:

The Cohen house backyard is based on a different home in the same neighborhood. It was hard to find pictures of this home since it hasn't been for sale as recently as the one above. I however found some photos on Tumblr that shows what inspired the backyard and the interior of the Cohen house:
